Near Death Experience
March 15, 2011
A couple of months ago I happen to catch a couple of episodes on the BIO channel – I survived…..Beyond and Back, by the way, a great program, about people who have had a NDE. I watched an episode with a man named Anthony Kimbrough who was having a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital where he had his NDE. I was able to connect with Anthony through his website/blog and read about his experience which truly came from the heart.
I will give you a link which will bring up a page with Anthony’s website/blog page. When you arrive to Anthony’s website, look to the upper right and you will see a link to his ( Beyond and Back question page). There you will be able to read what Anthony experience, felt and saw while Anthony was on the other- side and of what Anthony learned about himself while he was on the other- side. Here is the link to Anthony Kimbrough website/blog. www.anthony7-lifewithcancer.blogspot.com/ . I hope that you will visit Anthony’s Beyond and Back page, I believe it’s worth reading because of his experience and what Anthony talk’s about comes from the heart.
Remember – Love is everything and nothing else matters.
Have a great day

Heart Shaped Christmas Tree Lights
December 4, 2010
Since the loss of our son Billy on June 26 2004, I have and continue to receive many signs from Billy, many are through photographs, which brings me to this photograph that was taken a few days ago, November 30 2010. My wife Jo-Anne loves to set up the Christmas tree right after Thanksgiving along with all the trimmings.
Ever since I realize that Billy was giving us many signs through photographs, I began to keep a record of all the photographs that we have taken, including at Christmas time. My first year that I started taking spirit photographs which was in the spring of 2005. When Christmas time came that year I took a few photographs of the christmas tree, and sure enough, there was some type of spirit activity, whether it was orbs, streaking lights and my favorite heart-shaped images of all the lights, something would almost always show up. We have a website www.oursonbilly.com which everyone is welcome to visit and view a few pages of types of spirit photographs that we have and continue to receive, including some past photos of our christmas tree.
Again this photo below was taken a few days ago, November 30 2010 with my new camera a Nikon coolpix S3000. This is a close-up view of our Christmas tree, if you take a close look at all of the lights on our christmas tree you’ll notice nearly every light has taken the form of a heart-shaped image. They are and will always be my favorite sign from Billy, obviously because of what the heart-shaped image represents….Love.
I have a friend Mary Shannon Bell, whose blog you may also want to visit. Mary’s latest blog on November 30 2010 is about Holiday signs that our loved ones from heaven leave us. Mary has a list of the different types of signs that our loved ones can and do leave us. You can visit mary’s blog at www.maryshannonbell.com/blog .
God Bless
Have a great holiday

My new camera and spirit photo’s
November 24, 2010
I just bought a new Nikon Coolpix s3000 digital 12.0 megapixel camera. I couldn’t wait to take to start taking spirit photographs with this new camera and see how they will turn out with a 12 megapixel photograph. I have been and continue to use my two Kodak cameras the first is my cx7300 3.2 megapixel and the other my Kodak z760 6.1 megapixel camera. I have also used many of the inexpensive disposable cameras and my wife’s Kodak 8.2 megapixel camera, all with great results.
I bought this new camera because I have been having problems with my Kodak z760 6.1 megapixel camera, the selector button keeps getting stuck, a real pain. Anyway here are 3 of the 25 that were taken last night November 23 2010.
For those who may be a new visitor to our blog, we also have a website www.oursonbilly.com which anyone may visit read our story and view a few pages of the type of spirit photographs that we have and continue to receive. We hope the you enjoy these photographs and hopefully you’ll get out your cameras and taken some spirit photos. Your welcome to send us your spirit photos and if possible I may be able to use a photo or two for a photo of the month on our website www.oursonbilly.com or one day on this blog.
Have a great Holiday week

Spirit Lights
September 17, 2010
Last weekend we celebrated my parents 60th wedding anniversary which was held outdoors at our home on September 11 2010. It’s always a great time to have family and friends getting together and enjoying each other company and even better when we can celebrate 60 years of a couple being together for that amount of time, just think of all of the memories that they have collected over that time.
Anyway the reason that I mentioned my parents 60th wedding anniversary is because it’s about love family and friends having a great time and enjoying each others company. Of course we are not the only ones at our parents 60th wedding anniversary party, as you know I have taken and continue to take many photographs, not only of family events but signs from our loved ones on the other side. Our loved ones who cross over to “heaven” are always close by and they to love to go to family events like the rest of us. I have taken many photographs at weddings and other family events in which our loved ones can and do let us know that they are very close to us and want us to know that they are close by.
I would like to share 3 photographs that were taken at my parents 60th. I won’t upload any photographs which have a clear view of anyone at our anniversary party, of course for their privacy and I haven’t asked any of them for their okay, it’s something I may do so that I can display many other photographs with people and spirit activity.
This first photograph at the top of this page was taken a couple of days before the party, my wife and I were setting thing’s up for the weekend party. This photo shows the frame-work with lights which will have a canopy in case of rain, as you can see the tiny christmas tree lights were streaking.
In the second photograph which was taken a little later in the evening. you can see very clearly the tables, chairs, water bottles and the heavy spirit activity that was happening under our homemade canopy.
Our third photograph was taken near the end of my parents 60th wedding anniversary party. It was starting to cool off so we started a camp fire to stay warm, we sat and talked and of course we took a few photographs of which this in one of a few that were taken with spirit activity. They sure enjoy letting us know that they are near by, which is okay with me.
Our loved ones who have crossed over to “heaven” are alway close by and they can and do give us signs that they are close by. So the next time that you have a family event or some type of gathering, try taking a few photographs, I mostly use night flash when taking any photographs, it seems to work the best. I also mostly use two digital cameras, but I have noticed that the inexpensive disposable cameras work well, especially at weddings.
Remember Love is everything and nothing else matters.

Grieving – What if it was the other way around
September 1, 2010
I sometime receive emails from other grieving parents and one of the things they have asked me is, how was I able to deal with the loss of our son Billy. Some of the ways that I have dealt with our loss are mentioned in previous post on this blog. One that I haven’t written about on this blog, is written about on our website www.oursonbilly.com .
Some of the parents who have emailed me thanked us for writing about it on our website and book, Signs From Our Loved Ones, so I will write about it on this blog.
About 8 months after our son Billy crossed over to heaven we had the opportunity and honor to have a reading with Spirit messenger Vicki Monroe, that was February 16 2005. The reading was amazing and it took a load of my shoulders, knowing that we can still make a connection with our son Billy. I don’t remember if Vicki asked me the question during the reading or afterwards, but she could see that I was having a difficult time dealing with the loss of our son Billy, but it went like this, Vicki said;
What if it was the other way around, what if you Guy had died and crossed over to heaven and Billy was grieving for you the way you are for Billy; How would you, Guy in heaven feel about how Billy was grieving and feeling for you. Great question.
Great question indeed, but at the time my grief was to strong for me to start thinking about, what if it was the other way around. I kind of let it go in one ear and out the other, although it did stay in the back of my mind.
It may have been about 4 to 5 months later when the same question was asked of me again, this time it did sink in. Again like the first time, a great question. I started to think, if it was the other way around, how would I now in heaven feel after crossing over to heaven and our son Billy was grieving for me the way I was for Billy. I didn’t like it, I would not want Billy or anyone else to be grieving for me the way I was for him. It made me feel very sad that I may have made Billy crossing over to heaven a bit of a sad one. Maybe one day I will have to ask Billy that question, it could be very helpful to know, if so, maybe we can help others know that it may have an effect on them, then again it may not.
Anyway, I would from heaven do everything I could possibly do to help Billy to let go of those feelings and to start moving forward with his life, to be happy, live life to the fullest, have joy and start having fun again. because when it’s time for Billy to cross over to heaven we will be together again. I want to make myself clear, it’s okay to grieve, it’s when it starts to be prolonged, you stay depressed or your start to go into a deep depression and if all you do is keep thinking about the loss of your loved one, that isn’t good. We all have someone here in flesh and blood that loves us and wants to start living again.
Our loved ones in heaven do not want us to grieve any longer then we have to. There is not set way or time frame for how anyone does grieve or for how long, we are all different, but there comes a time when we have to start the process of moving forward living our lives and enjoy the people who are still with us. We have to let go of the physical part of our loved one who has crossed over, remember they are still with us in our true form spirit with all of their memories, they know how we are feeling, what we are thinking, they know how we feel about them and they know whats in our hearts. They want us to be happy.
When this was mentioned to me the second time around I started to think about it the other way around, I knew that I had to change about how I was feeling. For me it was a combination of thing that helped in some way, from my wife, family, friends and others including spirit messenger Vicki Monroe, and receiving signs from Billy which is really cool, and thinking about, what if it was the other way around all of these helped me to start the process of moving forward and living my life again.
What I can tell you is that it takes time, one step and one day at a time, things will start to get better in time. You will start to have many good days and less of the bad days, which is what our loved ones in heaven help us to do, but we have to do our part. Keep in mind, what if it was the other way around, how would you feel about how your loved one was grieving for you.
I am willing to say that, if it was the other way around, that you from heaven would do everything that you could to help your grieving loved one to begin the process of moving forward, living life to the fullest and to be happy.
I am also willing to say that your loved one who have crossed over to heaven is most definitely trying to help you to start moving forward with your life, to be happy again, start having fun , living life to the fullest, having joy…….. right now.
Remember, our loved ones are always close by helping us from heaven in whatever our journey here on this physical life may be and they want us to live life to the fullest. Just remember take it one step and one day at a time.
Have a great day
